Plagiarism Policy
Every submission to Artechno may be screened with similarity-detection software and may also be examined manually by editors and reviewers. A similarity percentage is an indicator, not an automatic decision. Editors evaluate the location, extent, attribution, context, and scholarly significance of matching material.
Prohibited practices include unattributed copying, close paraphrasing without citation, appropriation of ideas or creative work, citation concealment, duplicate publication, substantial text recycling, translated duplication, fabricated references, and the use of third-party images, recordings, scores, datasets, or artworks without attribution or permission.
When a concern is identified before publication, the journal may request clarification, require revision, reject the manuscript, suspend processing, or contact the relevant institution. When a serious concern is confirmed after publication, the journal may publish a correction, retraction, or other notice appropriate to the evidence.
Authors are responsible for checking the manuscript before submission. Proper citation does not automatically justify excessive reproduction of another work, and permission may still be required for copyrighted material.
