Artechno : Journal of Arts, Technology and Creativity

Artechno: Journal of Arts, Technology and Creativity is a peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes scholarly works examining the relationships among arts, technology, creativity, culture, and contemporary creative practices. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, artists, designers, educators, technologists, cultural practitioners, and creative industry professionals to discuss the development, application, experience, and implications of technology within artistic and cultural contexts.

Artechno welcomes original research articles, review articles, practice-based studies, design and development studies, and critical interdisciplinary inquiries. The journal particularly encourages manuscripts that establish a substantive relationship among artistic practices, technological development, and creative processes.

Artechno supports responsible self-archiving and the broad dissemination of scholarly work. Authors may deposit versions of their manuscripts in personal websites, institutional repositories, subject repositories, research networks, or other non-commercial scholarly platforms, subject to the conditions below.

Preprint Version

Authors may share a manuscript before peer review as a preprint. The author must disclose the existence of the preprint during submission. When the article is published, the preprint record should be updated with the final citation and a link to the version of record.

Accepted Manuscript

Authors may deposit the peer-reviewed manuscript accepted for publication without an embargo. The repository record must identify the manuscript as the accepted version and must include the final citation and link when available.

Published Version

Authors may deposit and share the published version of record in accordance with the article’s Creative Commons license. The complete citation, DOI when available, journal title, and link to the official article page must be retained.

Third-Party Material

Figures, photographs, scores, recordings, artworks, datasets, and other third-party materials may have separate rights or restrictions. Authors are responsible for confirming whether those materials may be included in a repository copy.

Self-archiving does not transfer copyright ownership and does not permit the removal of attribution, licensing information, notices of correction, or retraction statements.
